Can I have one of you patterns?Absolutely not. Patterns are not for sale. They are also not free.
Will you make my plush before I pay? Can I pay later? No.

We are always available to make hats for you.
Do you do trades? Like for drawn art or other plush?Rarely. If I want to do an art trade, I'll contact you.
Will you make my original character into a plush?Yes.
If I cry and whine and bug you will you lower your costs?No. I will post your name on a public blacklist as a warning to other plushmakers.
If I give you an excuse (It's my birthday, my grandma just died, etc) will you lower your prices?No.
I need to cancel my comission, can I get a refund?No.

How often do commissions get canceled?Since 2002, and nearly 400 plush, only 3 commissions have been canceled.
That is less than 1%.
This is not counting circumstances in which a customer/client changed their mind, canceled the character they originally requested, and changed their order.
This is also not counting circumstances in which a customer's character was canceled, but they recieved either a refund and/or a voucher for a future plush.
Are your plushes safe for children?No.
My plushies are constructed by hand, not mass produced by a company.
My plush are not meant to be handled roughly or for long periods of time.
My plush are meant to be decorative or display items.
They look best sitting on a shelf or in a display case.
Custom Plush are not toys.
Do you have a waitlist?Yes, we now have a wait list.
You may contact me at Webmaster@SweetPlushieCake.com with an email requesting to be put on the list. Please let me know the character you are interested in, and the size and style in which you would like it to be completed.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a spot on the wait list.
This fee is put towards the final cost of your plush.
You may also pay a $50 'holding fee' to secure a spot on the wait list, even if you do not know what character/type of plush you want. You can decide later.
How does the waitlist work?When a commission spot opens up, I will send you an email offering you the spot. You will have 24 hours to respond and pay the remaining fee for your commission spot or it will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
I need a plush done in (certain time). Can you do it?Yes, but there will be an additional rush fee.
I need a hat done in (certain time). Can you do it?Yes, provided I do not need to place an order for special fabric.
How much do your plushies cost?See the Prices page.
How much do your hats cost?Between $10 and $25, depending on complexity and detail.
Will you teach me how to make my own plush?No.
Will you teach me how to make my own hat?No.
Why does it take so long to make a plush?It takes time to get materials, draft a pattern, stitch it nicely, and send it to you.
How long does it take to make a plush?That depends on the size and style of the plush.
How long does it take to make a hat?Between 1 day and 2 weeks, depending on how available the materials are.
If I email you a lot, will you finish my plush faster?No, I will blacklist you for harassing me.
Please exercise patience. Hand-crafted, custom work can take time to complete.

Hats are completed as soon as the material is available. If you want a rare or out-of-season fabric print, it will take longer to get the materials and longer to complete the hat.

What's up with the hands on your plush?Hands on a plush can be in both a "thumbs up" or a "thumbs down" position.
If the thumbs are pointing up, it looks like the plush has it's palms out, arms spread, and is waiting for a hug.
If the thumbs are pointing down, it looks like the plush is standing still with it's arms at it's sides.
It is a minor detail that is often changed depending on the character.
